The brand traces its roots to a bespoke fashion designer graduate Vidhi Mukesh Khatri, who hails from the South-East region of Mumbai, India. A young, determined and diligent woman, traversing and learning the minor details of the world with a soulful interest in the realm of women's accessories. With a deep interest in footwear, she embarked on a journey to create and innovate in it. In 2013, two years after her graduation, Vidhi established her own designing and manufacturing factory specializing in footwear and shoes. Driven by a simple yet powerful dream of revolutionizing the footwear industry, thereby improvising, adapting and overcoming all the challenges that crossed the path. Through dedication and persistence, she succeeded in entering the global footwear market and began designing, manufacturing, and supplying for top Indian footwear brands, as well as for international. The experiences and insights gained over the years inspired Vidhi to expand her vision further. In 2021, she took a bold step by launching her own brand, preppy, entering the online retail market with the intent to connect with women worldwide. The brand's mission and vision is simple yet ambitious: to build lasting relationships with women everywhere, offering them high-quality, stylish footwear. With the goal of creating a global luxury business, preppy began investing heavily in expanding its offerings. The brand diversified its product range, exploring new categories, and strengthened its presence across multiple channels and geographies.
